Han Solo's shootout scene with "Greedo" which didn't make it to the big screen

At least since George Lucas released the Special Edition of Star Wars back in 1997 we know that there were a lot of scenes which didn't made it into the movies. Some were reintroduced and put back into the movies again, while some others have been left on the cutting room floor. Which is too bad since many enjoy those classic moments.

Especially one scene which has just been revealed recently would have been exciting to watch. Greedo-actor, Paul Blake, recently revealed to Sci Fi Central that he and Harrison Ford have been involved in filming a scene where they'd (Blake as another Rodian) encounter each other at the Millenium Falcon's docking bay shortly before the Stormtroopers arrive. At first they would shoot at each other but as soon as the Stormtroopers enter the scene they seem to forget their rivalry and start to fight the arriving troopers together.

Apparently several Rhodians were in Jabba's service. Here's just one of them.

Here is what Paul Blake said:

“There’s a brilliant little sequence which I loved doing with Harrison [Ford], where we were shooting at each other like cowboys and Indians.
We had this big gun battle which lasted all morning and then Stormtroopers came out of the big double doors and we started firing at them.
So we had this fantastic scene and of course that’s all gone. But I’m sure George [Lucas] has got that all at Skywalker Ranch.”

Which is too bad. I certainly would have loved to see that scene.
